The Carrillo 6.4L Powerstroke Pro-H Connecting Rod Set is a premium upgrade for the 2008-2010 Ford 6.4L Powerstroke engine. Since 1963, Carrillo has been a leader in custom connecting rod manufacturing, supplying top automotive and motorcycle performance industries.

These rods use a proprietary chrome, nickel, moly, and vanadium alloy that meets stringent VAR (vacuum arc re-melt ASTM) standards. Both suppliers and independent metallurgists verify the heat treatment, which uses a mar-aging process to achieve a tensile strength (UTS) of 195,000 psi and yield strength of 182,000 psi, while maintaining low notch-sensitivity and ductility.

Carrillo forges these rods oversized for optimal grain flow and removes surface imperfections through precise CNC machining with probing for dimensional accuracy. Each rod undergoes twice magnaflux inspection and Rockwell hardness testing to ensure quality. A final shot peen operation strengthens the part. The rods include H-11 tool steel bolts and come matched to +/- 1 gram per end.
